Principal’s Message

Spiritual Reflection

May 7, 2014

Dear CCS Families,

Prayer of Mother Teresa:

“Mary, mother of Jesus, be a mother to each of us, that we, like you,
may be pure in heart, that we, like you, love Jesus.”

The month of May is dedicated to the Mother of our Church, Mary.

This Sunday, is Mother’s Day, a perfect time to celebrate our
mothers. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all of our CCS
Mothers a Happy Mother’s Day.

Yours in Christ,

Fred McKay

Keating Kruisers

“Keating Kruisers” did a great job in the Dragon Boat Race on
Saturday. It was a great way to honor Mrs. Keating and Kennedy
Douglas. CCS plans to make this an annual event. Thank you everyone
for coming out for a family fun packed day!

Teacher Appreciation!

Teacher Appreciation Day was Tuesday May 6th. We would like to thank
all the Parents for providing a wonderful breakfast, treats and great
gifts. Thank you, also, Student Council for creating special baskets
for everyone on staff filled with our favorite things and fabulous
poems! Teachers, Administration and the Aftercare Staff appreciate
your kindness!

The Charleston Catholic School educates a socially diverse student
body in a nurturing family environment within the sacred tradition
and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Teachers challenge the
students to discover their own unique gifts through creative inquiry
and critical thinking in the core academic subjects and the arts.
Our small, loving environment enables students to learn self
discipline through responsible decision-making and to develop a sense
of compassion for others.
