Spiritual Reflection

May 28, 2014

Dear CCS Families,

When we recite the Our Father prayer, we ask God to “give us this day
our daily bread”. God gives us what we need every day, and we are
grateful for our daily gifts. This is a great time to express our
appreciation for the many blessings we have received during the
school year.

On behalf of the faculty, I wish to say “Thank You” to all of our CCS
Families for your participation in school activities, your support of
the teachers and staff, and your help and cooperation with the
transition into our new building this semester. We have demonstrated
our school’s core value of “loving family” throughout this school
year.

Yours in Christ,

Principal’s Message

Spiritual Reflection

May 13, 2014

Dear CCS Families,

For the month of May, we are focusing on Faithfulness as the last of
the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. We are talking with the students
each week about examples of faithfulness. Being faithful involves
commitment and dedication. As students, they are expected to be
dedicated to giving their best effort and having a positive attitude
in their classes. They are being faithful when they listen to their
teachers and complete their assignments by the due dates. Please
reinforce this virtue of faithfulness at home.

Congratulations to Paul Rosenblum, one of our CCS Board members, who
was ordained a Deacon by Bishop Guglielmone this pastFriday. Deacon
Paul will serve the parish of Saint Mary of the Annunciation and the
Seafarers Ministry at the Port of Charleston. For his “day job”,
Deacon Paul is a Professor of Biology at The Citadel. Paul asks for
your prayers as he begins his new role in the Church.

Yours in Christ,

Fred McKay

We would like to congratulate all of our students who received the
