Principal’s Message

October 9, 2015

CCS Families,

First and foremost thank you to everyone who helped clean the grounds
after the recent storm. The landscaping around the school looks
wonderful. The Grandparents were very impressed how beautiful the
campus looked.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made this year’s historical
Grandparents Day so successful. The reception was enjoyed by all the
grandparents and special friends.

Congratulations to all of the students who participated in Mass,
Movement, Chorus and Band. You did a fabulous job! Thank you to our
8th grade class, the leaders of our school, who helped sign in and
direct our guests to the classrooms.

I hope you all enjoy your weekend and Columbus Day Holiday.

Yours in Christ,

Fred McKay

The Charleston Catholic School educates a socially diverse student
body in a nurturing family environment within the sacred tradition
and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Teachers challenge the
students to discover their own unique gifts through creative inquiry
and critical thinking in the core academic subjects and the arts.
Our small, loving environment enables students to learn self
discipline through responsible decision-making and to develop a sense
of compassion for others.

Parents & 8th Graders

October 6, 2015

Dear CCS Parents and 8th Graders,

Wow, what an eventful few days we have had. I hope that everyone is
safe and preparing to get back to a normal schedule.

As you know Grandparents Day is Friday. Due to the events in the last
few days we really need parents and 8th grade students to rally and
help us spruce up our campus!! We are all proud of CCS and want it
to look the best it can for all our Grandparents and Special friends
that will visit the campus on Friday.

We are asking for help on Thursday afternoon from 3:30-4:30pm. Please
bring hedge clippers and adult operated weed eater. Bring your strong
muscles and be ready to pull some weeds!!

Thank you so much, I am looking forward to seeing many smiling faces
on Thursday!!
