Principal’s Message February 3, 2017

Dear CCS Families,

As Catholic Schools Week comes to a close, I want you to know how proud the teachers, staff and I are of the students for their participation and school spirit this week.  The week started last Sunday with many students wearing their school Mass day uniforms to Sunday Mass at their parish.

The students, with guidance from their teachers, completed two service projects: creating Valentine’s cards for active duty military personnel and making colorful fleece blankets for patients at MUSC Children’s Hospital.

We had two guest speakers who shared their vocation stories with the students: Father Miles talked about his journey to becoming a priest and Mr. Bedford talked about starting his teaching career at CCS and currently serving as Principal of Meeting Street Academy.

The week concluded with School Spirit Day and Pep Rally on Friday with performances by the concert band and cheerleaders and recognition of all of our basketball teams.  We have had a wonderful celebration of our Catholic school!  Go Saints!

Yours in Christ,

Fred McKay

Principal
